The Death Row Mullet is a large profile that mimics mullet and large baitfish imitations and is one of my go-to patterns when targeting predatory game fish. Because this fly stays high in the water column and has a large head that pushes water, it is ideal for sight fishing applications in clean water or for blind-casting in dirty water. The Death Row Mullet uses a blend of both synthetic and natural fibers, giving it good movement. This fly is tied on a 4/0 hook and measures about 7” long.
